MSMAC’s Skids UP Funfly Report
4:39 pmJuly 13-15th was the stage for Missouri Slope Model Aircraft Club’s 4th Annual Skids UP helicopter funfly. Weather was awesome and so was the flying. About 20 pilots were registered, some of which were plank flyers but put on a great show none the less.
We had our fill of buffalo wings on Friday night to start things off and fuel up for a action packed and event filled say Saturday. Lots of flying and some impressive demos from Troy and the Century Swift and Freestyle. Tony also showed us the maxamps batteries for the t-rex are also a very good cell and pack a punch. We also took some pictures from our helicopter camera ship of Tony flying his 40% Yak in some great air to air photo sessions!
Thanks for a great weekend!
Thanks to Rob Sigman from Beulah for volunteering to run the camera on the aerial shots.

Williston Funfly Report
4:28 pmWell the weekend was a great one for flying. Saturday offered a little wind and some cloudy skies to combat the high heat that was forcast for the weekend making it a fun day for flying. Pilots from Terry, MT., Glendive, MT., Minot, Lignite, Dickinson, Grassy Butte and Williston were on hand to put on a good bit of flying! Thanks for a great weekend!
I would also like to thank Phil Kling from Lignite for volunteering to be my camera operator on the aerial shots!
