The 2008 Ribeye Funfly is now history and what a great couple of days! The weather was absolutely perfect for the weekend and there was a ton of flying going on. Over 100 flight tickets were distributed Saturday and Sunday so there was very little time that something was not in the air.
The Ribeye’s were bigger than ever this year and really capped off a great Saturday. I’m pretty sure that noone was hungry after all was said and done.
There was a little wind that come up for an hour or so while we were eating but ended up perfectly calm for the evening. We flew as long as we could in the daylight but then turned on the lights and kept flying!
All in all it was a ton of fun and I really want to thank all of you that attended, our sponsors and all those that put in the time and effort to make the event happen! Thanks!
Here are some photos with hopefully some video coming soon. Enjoy!

Looks like a very nice flying site. I may have to stop by sometime if there is an opportunity while visiting the parents in Dickinson. I’m not able to find webmaster contact information on the site. I’m curious on how the Weather Conditions script was implemented.

I enjoyed the posted photos. It looks like a very nice flying field and may have to stop by with a model sometime if there is an opportunity while visiting the parents in Dickinson. I can’t seem to find webmaster contact information. I’m curious on how the weather conditions scripting was implemented on the webpage. Keep ‘em outta da trees.
